Back blip

I had the pleasure of attending the wedding celebration for one of my friends on Saturday. The actual wedding ceremony took place a few months ago but, for various reasons, the celebration party was arranged for this weekend. It was preceded by a short act of blessing and the whole ceremony took place in Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh.

An area of the church had been set aside as a dance floor, with space for the ceilidh band at one end and tables for the guests to sit and socialise at the other. The 'bring and share' buffet was also a great success!

All-in-all, a wonderful afternoon and evening.
