Heathrow Reservoirs

I was back in the air today - heading to Washington DC for the second trip of my three back-to-back trips.

These aren’t actually called Heathrow Reservoirs - the one on the left is King George VI Reservoir and the one on the right is Staines Reservoir. The town of Staines is just below or to the south of the reservoirs. Heathrow, particularly Terminal 5, is just above or to the north of the Reservoirs.

A friend of mine was asking about them the other day as she was sitting in the BA lounge at T5 and could see them from the window. So here they are!
