A Summer Concert.....
...with all proceeds going to Water Aid....information can be found at supportercare@wateraid.org/uk
This is the choir my big sister has sung in for umpteen years and numbers are diminishing but the singing is amazing, under the leadership of their very capable leader and conductor. A better photo was taken on my camera but it doesn't show the accompanist and the wonderful grand piano.
I have blipped this view before. It's from the front row of the balcony seats...my "box" as I call it... and it gives a wonderful birds eye view. Sister #youngest and husband joined me. Full length black with aqua accessories was the order of the day and it looked very smart and was perfect for the theme of the evening. Every song was about water. The finale was an arrangement of Bridge over troubled Water and it was wonderful.
My extra shows some of my pupils from my first year at the castle school. Then Yr2 and now Yr6 and ready for KS3. Today was Leavers and End of Term service in the church. All here have made amazing progress and I wish them all the best as they grow in their education and in themselves.
I have snuck a display I saw in the Workshop...my last role...and it deserves sharing..
A good day...
