Waddle in Wonderland

I decided I needed a new base for the garden parasol but it proved harder than I thought to get one - the last one in the 4th shop. "Sold out weeks ago", "big demand", "not getting any more in" - and it's only mid-July!
After lunch I got out the bike and did a 15 mile, 9 penguin bagging trip. Mostly very pleasant apart for the steep uphills at the beginning of the homeward leg but I was fortified by a pot of tea at the Botanic Gardens (where there's a penguin).
Back home I sat out and wrote the first draft of a sermon for the emd of the month before a short run with the  ladies.
