Earlstoun Power Station

Following on from yesterday's blip, this hydroelectric station was commissioned in 1936 as part of the Galloway Hydroelectric scheme.

It's construction consists of the turbine house (right of picture) a large dam and aqueduct (with a road bridge over it to support the A713 road) and a salmon ladder (left of shot)
