Old gig tickets - B. B. King and Dr. John

So, it was 28 years ago (and a day - don't know how I'm a day late with this) today I went to the Royal Festival Hall. Wow, wow, wow, this was a gig and a half. Dr. John as support was mostly solo on piano, walking with a fancy cane if I remember. The King was just sublime, jazzy as well as bluesy, tight backing band and especially strong brass section. "The Thrill Is Gone" was probably the greatest thrill I ever had in a concert hall. Honour to have heard Mac, Riley and Lucille.
