Tree shadow

The crops are all so nearly ripe... it seems rather early!  l liked the contrast between the green corn which has been growing in a tree shadow and the ripened corn stretching across the rest of the field.  There is more cloud cover... what a relief as the temperature has come down to a more moderate 24C.  This really has been a wonderful summer we have been having.  (I don't think it can be classed as a heatwave any more!!)
