Threatening sky....

...but still no rain.

I've never seen silage harvested so early in the year, hay bales are appearing which would normally be mid August through to September. This field will soon be harvested too looking at the colour of it.

I guess the potatoes are suffering this year, I know my garden is and even the apple tree looks a bit sorry for itself. A nice night time downpour wouldn't go amiss.
