English star

C got a lovely surprise in assembly today, he had been selected to get the KS1 school star for English after being nominated by his teacher and selected by the head.

He was so proud to show me his trophy when he came out of football and his teacher appeared to tell me how pleased she was with him. I may have had something in my eye on the way home! ;-) C is such a bundle of energy and activity - always on the move so it is wonderful to see the progress he has made in writing and reading this year, what a long way we’ve come since reception!

R and I had ventured to Ikea in the afternoon to get C’s new b’day bed and desk so Daddy built the new bed a traight away when he got home from work as a reward. Much excitement at sleeping high up!
