Death Star

This is the Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project outside Tonopah, Nevada. It is a "concentrating solar power plant with central receiver tower and advanced molten salt energy storage technology." according to Wikipedia. If you want to read more about it click here. It was strange to see this in the middle of the desert.

We are now in our room in Carson City. Lots of construction on the road so it took a bit longer than expected to get here. 

I am grateful to be out of the car. We are about to go down, have a drink and spend the $5 vouchers we got for the casino. Wish us luck!!
