Cornet

Gina and I binged watched the two seasons of "The Crown" on Netflix over the past week.  Not sure about the accuracy, but there was a lot to like about it.  Clare Foy says more with her eyes than many actors speak in a lifetime.  John Lithgow was an amazing version of Churchill. The photography was excellent and I thought the music was wonderful throughout.  The second season had sprinklings of the classics along with the the music of Rupert Greyson-Williams.  One familiar piece was haunting but I had to cheat (I have an app for that) to find out what it was.  It was Lacrimosa from Mozart's last (and incomplete) composition, the Requiem in D minor.  It turned out that he wrote it for himself, having died while composing it.

HERE is all 2 minutes and 53 seconds of Lacrimosa - worth the listen.

Looking forward to Season 3.  By the way, while looking for something English to photograph, I found this little musician that I purchased on my first visit to London in 2001.
