Tiny patterns

I have been taking the dog on longer walks since Saturday as she seems to be more energetic and like herself after a week of healing from her surgery.  The stitches she has on her back are looking good and her hair that the vet shaved off is already growing back.  Getting the stitches taken out next week is going to be so much fun..NOT.   I don't know how we will get her to be still to do this.  

On our walk we came across an area of weeds where there were probably 10 of these dragonflies.  I had to go back home to get the camera so I could get a photo because the phone just was not good enough.    

I love the tiny little designs in the wings..almost reminds me of the shape of spider webs or bee honeycomb.   Nature probably uses the patterns and designs in many things.
