Happy and dirty

He and the other scouts had a great time this year.
There were tales of wood chopping competitions, pony treks and camp fire stories (and plenty more) shared whilst we drove the long drive home.
It was just over 9 and a bit hours behind the wheel with not quite 2 hours of leg stretching, picnicking, toilet visiting and general mucking around to break it up. We even visited the submarine again in Holbrook.
I am glad that I went to pick them up and had the honour of hearing those stories that, once processed, don't often get told without a lot of arm twisting or tickling to get past " it was alright"!
