Put in a good shift at the allotment, knackering ourselves in the process - managed to get the leeks planted out, picked more peas and blackcurrants and assorted green stuffs. We seem to have a decent little crop of wheat and barley ripening up under the forsythia - presumably a legacy of when the bird feeder hung there.
