The World
Today dawned rather gloomily and there was even a few minutes of rain!! You'll be pleased to hear that it has brightened up since and is now lovely and sunny again. Guernsey has become something of a stopover point for cruise ships in the last few years. Today we were visited by 'The World.' It is the largest privately owned residential ship on the planet. You can read more about it here.
I took these pictures from the L'Auberge at Jerbourg. I've added an extra of the ship and a view of Fermain Bay and the 'posh' houses on the clifftop at Fort George. One day....
