Myrtle

Some years ago Chris became obsessed with finding a Myrtle. We eventually got one in St Davids in Pembrokeshire. He went on to grow a standard and has taken many cuttings. This is the first flower on one of them. I kniw I have blipped one before on the standard but I can't remember when.
Thought the filaments/anthers looked lovely in the sun and would be appropriate for tiny Tuesday.

We got a lot of rain last night so it's been fresher today but still hot in the sun.
I was pleased it was a bit cooler as we've been stripping the kitchen. This afternoon another kind of stripping a visit to the breast screening van! It always seems hot in there.

Having a cuppa now with Le Tour, nice to see them in the mountains.
