Local Pride on Rememberance Day
We have had a lovely morning - went to our local Church - St. Andrews at Whitchurch for the rememberance service, glorious weather and a really good turn out for the church service and ceremony and silence at the war memorial - I really love that the vicar reads out all of the names of the fallen from memorial so that they are not forgotten - nice to see all the cubs, scouts, brownies and guides there as well.
Hubby looked very smart in his uniform, I don't often get to see him in uniform nowadays and both lads joined us - we said hi to friends and neighbours and then called into our local pub which is conviently next door for a lunch time drinkies - now at home watching the England v Fiji rugby match we recorded from yesterday - perfect Sunday. xx
