For the fathers we miss

I had a walk in Holland Park this morning before attacking the day.

As I walked through the garden I saw a couple in their eighties sitting on a bench. The woman was reading something out from The Times. Out of curiosity I walked closer to find out which article she was relating.

It turned out to be the obituary of Sir Alan Donald, former British Ambassador to China and the father of my friend Angus.

If you read this Angus, we will always miss out dads.
