Cherry-picking

Down at the pond today there was a lovely little mother duck with a happy brood of tiny fluffy chicks. Not a breed I know by name so I've put her in extras in case one of you can identify her. Unlike the mallards, she and all her tiny chicks were perfectly happy to submerge completely and remain out of sight below the surface for what seemed like dangerously long periods. Yet the babies were so tiny!

There was also what appeared to be a carp, whom again, I have added to extras as proof, though these extras may be deleted at a later date should I need more in future.

But mostly the day was spent metaphorically cherry-picking.
