Pair of clown hats

Would go nicely on a pair of clowns.

I won't say much more, but our reputation with the City Car Club, from whom we rented a van for a couple of hours to do a mercy dash to Ikea on a Sunday morning when I'd rather be in bed, is at an all time low because we were ten minutes late getting back to return the van for a back to back hire. Ten minutes we spent standing outside a tenement flat door trying to make ourselves heard, whilst the occupants were presumably sleeping, having been told we would be there before 11am.

Grrrrhhhh.

We consoled ourselves with a late cooked breakfast.

And on the way out of Tesco's car park I saw these two clown hats.
