Doon in Troon

Enjoyed having the beautiful boys staying overnight last night to be ready for a fairly early start (relatively speaking, as one of them is still a student) this morning to travel down to Kilmarnock to see my aunt and uncle. We were treating them both to lunch in Troon to celebrate my uncle's 90th birthday. Left Edinburgh in lovely sunshine but, by the time we hit Central Scotland, dark grey clouds were emptying bucketfuls of rain.

Still, enjoyed good food, good company and a good haul of home baked goodies to take home.
