2018 Monday — Buoy Boat
It was early morning with lots of coastal mist when we saw the Coast Guard boat, the George Cobb, approaching the buoy that is in sight when ever we look out our windows. This boat is dedicated to buoy maintenance.
Today the Coast Guard crew lifted the old buoy out of the water and then positioned a new buoy in its place.
I was capturing photos through our inexpensive spotting scope with my iPhone camera. So they are crummy photos, but they capture the moment that is now a memory.
Mid-day we headed into San Luis Obispo to do some banking and a few other errands. Mr. Fun needed to close his mom’s bank account. All inheritance checks and expenses have cleared the account. Grammie Fun passed away March 23; the estate sale was the last weekend in April; her house was placed on the market in early May, and sold in 4 days with a 30 day escrow. So today ended all her earthly doings. We know she would not choose to be back here. The last few years her main desiree, expressed numerous times, was to be home with Jesus. She was 95 years old and had just about used up her earth-suit.
