Thoroughfare

This picture is really to record a moment in time when Karama Street is being extended (it's being made into a dual carriageway) and this very prominent building on the corner was cleared of all its tenants a few months ago, and the refurbishment they are doing is going to make it look (almost) brand new!

Can't believe some of the things I'm watching on the news at the moment. The world really is a strange place now. You never know what's going to happen next when the so-called "leader of the free world" calls his allies foes, and puts more trust in a long-standing enemy. I'm glad there were excerpts of Les Bleu arriving home to a heroes welcome to watch in between all the madness going on in Helsinki.
