Carry on camping

These three popped their camping cherries today. As we didn't make it last night we ventured out early this morning but it was still noon before we got the tents up and the breakfast sarnies on the go.

My it was hot but we pulled our chairs under trees and sat chatting away, playing catch and climbing trees. Due not packing any food (we blamed the weather for not being able to keep anything chilled) we had pizza and burgers at the campsite bar before retreating back to the tent for toasted marshmallows then bed. As it got dark Esther asked 'Can we go home now?' Bless she settled in her readybed well though.


Reasons to be cheerful:
