River Diversion

I was driving to a conference this afternoon when I passed a beautiful river setting.  I pulled into the park, put the turn-by-turn directions on hold and reached for my camera.  As I was headed down to what looked like a good spot for pics, I noticed a couple of women had already staked out the spot and were preparing a canoe for a paddle down stream.  Rather than be the creepy stranger guy with a camera I headed off to another spot for a couple of photos. 

What a gorgeous day it was.  Much cooler than the last couple of scorchers and not a cloud in the blue, blue sky!
