celebrating Sugg's birthday, my grandad is on the far left.
letter informing my grandfather that his son had been wounded in France 1944. Dad nearly lost his leg and arm, and would have done so had it not been for the new wonder drug being tested on soldiers: penicillin. he received such high doses that he became allergic to it. and the amount of shrapnel he carried in his body meant that he set off every airport alarm for the rest of his life!
