Gluttony.....

....is the theme for today’s Monomonday. ;-))

So, after I returned from pool this morning, the Driver said we were going for.......a drive!
(I’m thinking - it’s monday. Washing, shopping, cooking - but heyho “carpe diem”). Well, we ended up at a pub that we used to frequent 50 years ago!! Bloody hell! I don’t even feel 50! This pub was outside the metro area and was allowed to sell alcohol on a Sunday afternoon unlike the metro pubs. We used to go there, drink copious amounts of beer and then drive home......the kids these days are so much more sensible. Although there were not as many cars, they didn’t go as fast, were built out of metal not plastic etc, etc, etc. Anyway, today we had a pub grub lunch. The rain was pouring, the fire was crackling and the memories came flooding back. I had a glass of water.........and didn’t eat all the chips, or BLT. Honestly ;-))
