We saved the best until last. After bidding farewell to our home for the week we broke our journey in Comar. Although very busy with tourists we enjoyed wandering around this historic town.

This is an area known as ‘Little Venice’. The boat trip looked interesting as the bridges were very low and heads had to be ducked. Every bridge and street railing was adorned with flowers. In addition some even had Storks nests built on them!

A wonderful way to finish the holiday. The flight was delayed on the runway due to the French air traffic controllers industrial action. However once in the air the journey went smoothly and we were home by 9pm.

Looking forward to our trip to the Lakes in two weeks time.
