Never Work...

... with children and animals! 

I've heard it said so many times but today really proved that this saying is well founded. 
As the lavender is really at its best right now, I thought it would be nice to take Dolly along and grab a few shots of her among the flowers.
I took 405 images and this is only one of two where she is not scowling. No matter what I tried to bribe her with, she wasn't going to smile for the camera. In the end, she decided to make a pattern with small stones that she found and this is her on the quest for more stones. I grabbed the shot and made a swift exit.
