Sunshine and Shadows.
It was frosty again this morning and I took several shots of berries, leaves and seed heads with frost on them.
In the end I chose this one, which shows the layers of leaves, sunshine and shadows. The damaged trunk of one of the apple trees is very noticeable; this is where the deer, not content with eating the windfall fruit, also pull off the bark.
This picture also shows how quickly the sunshine melts the frost. You can see the frost in the foreground and in the shadow of the tree, but it is completely gone where the sun is shining.
