They're off

Krista and Kalyn left this afternoon.  Krista has to do the night feed at the barn and Kalyn's off to Saskatchewan tomorrow to celebrate Marky's birthday with him.  He's playing summer baseball in Moose Jaw.  
We had a short but wonderful visit with them.  We sat outside until 11:30 last night, saw 4 of the 5 planets that were visible without a telescope and marvelled at the Milky Way.  Mars hadn't appeared above the trees.  We had some laughs before bed - laughed so hard that my abs hurt today.  I read recently that laughter brings sunshine into a home.  I have to agree.  Our girls always bring sunshine into our home as well.  Love them to bits.
