The Open

First practice day at The Open today & only a tenner to get in so seemed a cheap day out - that’s if you didn’t buy the hugely over -priced coffee or step over the threshold of the shop, both of which were done of course. Quite a few players out. This is Patrick Cantlay (USA) on the first tee. Tiger was rumoured to be appearing but think he’d be waiting till all went home. Weary tonight after the 8 mike walk there & back given that us poor residents aren’t allowed to park anywhere in Carnoustie this week. Grrrr
