Angels of the North

The kids have had an obsession with the Angel of the North for the best part of a year.  Every time I drive them down to my Mum's they insist on staying awake until we pass it, which is usually about half way.  The little lady normally falls asleep before we get there but the wee man often perseveres.

Today we didn't just pass it by.  We stopped to get out and witness it up close.  The kids were ecstatic!
