Attack of the Butterflies

CC was freaking out.  There were so many butterflies in the mountains, she was certain they were after her.  She wasn't appreciative of the kind hearted jokes about being a flower either.

Fine day in the mountains. What a difference a few months make!  Last time in April, there were several meters of snow where this photo was taken.  We made bets if we would find any remaining today.  CC and I lost. We could see some snow fields high up on the mountains, but not at our elevation of about 1900 meters.

The water in the stream was still very cold and as soon as I gave a half nod they could take their shoes off, the were already in the water.

Time to burn a few extras.  Lots of screen saver quality photos today. :)
