Not an ordinary Sunday

Well, this Sunday started in a normal way. After breakfast I went out for a 6.5km walk. Great weather; nice walk. That’s when I took this image.

Back at home, I helped Inge and Nienke who were busy making a chocolate cake. Then I got a call: it was my dad, telling me my mom was not doing OK. She had pain in her hip for some time and it just didn’t get any better and she could no longer take the pain. I quickly went over there and we made a call to the house doctor on duty. About an hour later we had an appointment and again an hour later we returned home with some serious pain medication. Hopefully she can get an appointment in hospital soon....
