Friends catch up

R and I went on an adventure today on the train to Reading to meet two old friends from uni days. The two Kates were on fine form, Kate just back from travelling and Kate Mc having had baby Orla 6 months ago, there was definitely a lot to catch up on.

Lovely chat & lunch picking up where we left off as usual. R and I trained it back and got drenched in a v rare downpour (this is becoming a theme when we do have some occasional rain!).

C brought his school report home which was wonderful and so personal about him and his achievements- he has thrived in Y2, is exceeding in his writing & I couldn’t be prouder!! Not bad for a summer born, energy pack of a boy I thought!

Curry with the girls for me tonight, yay.
