Shiny

Incredibish and I took part in the ride out organised to support the Great Western Air Ambulance charity this morning.  

There were bikes and bikers of all sorts taking part.  This was undoubtedly the shiniest machine present - somebody's lovingly cared for pride and joy. It looks fabulous on a day like today, but can you imagine the hassle involved in trying to keep all that chrome looking as spotless as this?

In the extra you see Incredibish enjoying the attention that only riding a 1700cc British Motorbike can bring ... and yes you read that correctly,   that really is 1,700 cc of motorbike engine, and they say size isn't everything! :-)

When I set off from home at 8:15am the riding conditions were just about perfection.  Gradually over the course of the morning the temperature rose, and by noon, when we arrived back from the ride it was starting to get quite warm.  Certainly when I got home I must admit to being delighted to be able to get out of all the gear and to get into a pair of shorts!
