We met this quiet, unassuming, man out for a walk at the Links and the Scores, blending in with St Andrews golf tourists and holidaymakers.
Our family have followed Ernie Els’ game for years. The 147th Open Championship is at nearby Carnoustie next week, and he’s scheduled to play; he won the Open in 2012 at Lytham St Annes and the Open in 2002 at Muirfield. By this time next week the new champion will be known.......
