Death From the Sky...

...in training. This juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk swoops in almost everyday to sit in the Winged Elm tree. The 'kid' sits and calls and calls and watches for any movement from the frogs in the pond. Most of them, of course, know better than to give her a target. I'm thinking that she has had some luck at some point to keep coming back to the exact same spot. We see an occasional serpent and small toads in the rocks around the pond and then there are... the frogs!  A Peaceful Week to all of you
