We went to the Canadian Downwind Championships this weekend to cheer on Wilson and other Bellingham kayakers. This year they opened the race to stand-up paddlers, too. Last year I was amazed that Wilson could do this 13-mile race. Now that he's an experienced salt I am turning my awe to the suppers.
