Fast Sheep

Really nice day for a walk out to Fast Castle, where we wound up sitting just watching the see for at least an hour and a half, the occasional Gannet floating by in the distance, and Shags on a rock below tending to their young. There was even a Peregrine flyby, though at a distance making photos difficult.

A 'good for the soul' day; getting home to spend time in the garden, finally starting the bamboo bike build (I've only had the kit for a year and a bit, though have the excuse of the broken harm putting a bit of a stop on things). Plan now is to have the frame tacked and ready to be bound by next weekend; sanded during the following week, before being painted; and built up ready to be used not long after (I've got a random day off late next month to go riding, and I'd like to use this, and to have had a few miles under the belt on it before then - at least I know its wheels work, given I've been using them on the cross bike recently).
