Apple Peeler

CCN and I called into the Loganbrae Apple Orchard today to buy a bottle of their delicious Apple Juice. There’s nothing quite like it. We were astonished to see this amazing piece of machinery in action. It’s actually a mechanical apple peeler and has the ability to peel four apples at a time. Stephanie was peeling a stack of apples to make their wonderful apple pies for the Sunday crowd. It was absolutely fascinating to watch it in action. Sam the apple man told us it was very old and built in the 1940’s. Wow, wouldn’t I love one of those at Wombat Hollow. A bit over the top I guess, but it would be a great party trick!!
