Steep ground

Definitely my favourite workshop to run.

With a smaller group I'd intended to run a different session with an ascent of a now mostly dry Stickle Ghyll, but when we did the group introductions it became clear that would be beyond a couple of novices. So instead we did some very very basic self movement skills and one potential future mountaineer tied their first ever knots. The rest of the group were super supportive.

A lovely party this evening getting to know more people. As the sun faded bat's replaced swallows dancing over the woods, but the laughter continued late into the night.
