From out of the darkness

Something slimey this way comes. Long after our lunch and dinner guests had left I realised I'd got nary a blip from anything today. Janet called from the garden, "get your camera, I've got a blip!" and like a good lad off I went.

It's still damnably hot and humid, and it's interesting to watch people online as they let the heat direct their emotions in forum posts. I'm as likely as anyone to shoot from the hip, but perhaps knowing that I'm relaxed.

Tomorrow is an early start (for me) as the Great Western Ambulance charity motorcycle ride starts from nine in the morning. Anyone else going? Perhaps for tomorrow's photo I'll check the f-stop first...
