Oh what a night!

At 11.30pm last night I had a photography tutorial for two hours. I have always wanted to photograph the Milky Way and last night, I did!! I learnt so much in those two hours, not least of which was the realisation that I have 'outgrown' my current camera and could really do with an upgrade. We had the best time and my tutor, Ben, made me feel much more confident about leaving Auto mode behind. 
The shot I have posted tonight, was set up and taken by me. It's a little grainy if you zoom in, but overall I am delighted with it for a first attempt.
