Life through my eyes

Hanging out

I was very glad we had a quiet day planned today as last night I thought I would try and use the computer for catching up on Blip and things.  I was not expecting my shoulder to hurt as it had before the operation, but it was so painful I barely slept last night, even Solpadeine Max didn't help.  The pain was exactly like before the operation and in the area where he left the biceps tendon intact, but is is inflamed.  It had not been too bad until I started gradually doing more things (and I have not been overdoing it, or even doing all the normal household chores).  While I was lying awake feeling a bit sorry for myself I realised it was better to find out now before I see him on Tuesday, than find out when I go back to work.

We have chilled in the garden, watching cycling, tennis and football!  There were a few butterflies, bees and insects.  I liked the hoverfly and the way he hung on to the fuchsia stamens.

As I was going up to bed last night we had BBC News 24 on, and I saw my picture of the clouds yesterday on the national weather forecast!  Quite a surprise.

This may or may not be my last Blip.  I am not sure.  Something today has brought back an upsetting memory, and I am undecided about carrying on. My husband says I shouldn't stop doing what I love.  I will see how I feel tomorrow and maybe after a better night's sleep (I hope).
