SILLY? OR NOT SO SILLY?
We drove today in the morning to Dalhausen for our walk.
Dalhausen is known for the goats that live in summer at the chalk heaths of the hills around this village.
They keep the meadows clean, and now and then they eat of bushes and trees too, as the photo shows.
We walked from the cemetry to the Klus Eddessen, at first the path follows the small brook up, and then a pretty path through the forest, which has open spaces. The sun shone so nicely and we saw lots of butterflies and other insects. Among them the Silver washed Fritillary.
The Eddessen chapel was closed, there does not live a hermit any longer in the little house near it. We sat on a bench to eat our lunch and had a rest before we went the same path back.
