In Sunderland for Martin’s Auntie Peggy’s 80th Birthday party, which will be fun.

However, have a few hours before the party to get some steps in walking around the amazing city that is Sunderland.

Did you know that Sunderland was once known as the largest shipbuilding town in the world. Alas, much has changed on that front, but there are many references to this proud past such as this new sculpture, which can be rotated. The propeller is made up of photographs of the families who worked within the shipyards.
