What's not to like?

Côté du Ventoux is not too far a drive from the Med itself.   I've been 2 or 3 times and enjoy the red wine of the region.

I once took a group to one of the 50 or so vineyards.  The "propriétaire du vignoble" took pride in telling us that his grandmother had had "une liaison amoureuse" with Samuel Beckett during World War 2 while he was working with the French Resistance. 

Only in France would a man boast about his grandmother's love life.
