Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument

Tonight I went with a friend to the Florissant Fossil Beds, not to look at the petrified redwood stumps or insect and plant fossils, but to be in a designated Dark Sky location to try some star photography. Unfortunately a storm was moving in just as we arrived. But it made for some nice sunset shots. And for an earlier than expected arrival back home to my bed.
